2008-2009 FAFSA

Posted by Sarah on October 19, 2007

According to the US Department of Education, paper FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms will no longer be sent in bulk to schools and libraries.  If you need to fill out a FAFSA, you will have three options:

  1. You can call 1-800-4-FED-AID and request a paper FAFSA be mailed to you.  It should arrive in three to seven days.
  2. You can fill out the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  The library will provide a FAFSA on the Web worksheet, if you should need it.
  3. Beginning November 15, a PDF version of the FAFSA will be available at www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov.  This form can be downloaded, filled out and mailed to the address provided.
