It seems these days that everyone has a page on MySpace, LinkedIn or FaceBook.  Be aware that not only your friends are reading your page.  Potential employers are looking at them as well.  Click on this link to read more about what you should not have on your page and how to keep it private.

College.gov

The Federal Government has created a new site for students: College.gov.  According to the US Department of Education, “College.gov was designed by students for students and features first-person accounts of students who overcame challenges to going to college such as peer pressure, lack of family support, and financial barriers.”  The site contains three main sections: Why Go?, What To Do, and How To Pay.
