BUPERS IMO is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and principal advocacy for information resources and services to implement information management/information technology (IM/IT) to support the goals and objectives of the Chief of Naval Personnel (CHNAVPERS). Advises CHNAVPERS on IM/IT resource management, investment/portfolio management, acquisition management, enterprise architecture, enterprise information management, requirements integration, enterprise planning, integration and infrastructure management and system interoperability and modernization initiatives required to improve mission performance.
