Record all gas and water meter in Boiler Room, Enenco, Dimer, Emulsifier, cooling towers and city meters. Back wash rinse all filters (feed-water) daily. Run hardness test on all softeners in service every two hours. Regenerate all softeners that are hard. Run all boiler water chemical readings and test every two hours. Take readings on air dryers and centac when in service each shift. Observe well, well water supply and towers. Fill oilier for deep well pump daily and check lubrication rate. Take care of #2 fuel oil storage areas, and record oil levels. Keep Boiler Room and storage areas clean. Keep Engineer II informed of all routine duties performed. Must be observed by Production and Maintenance Management effectively accomplishing the following task requirements for at least one production line with occasional supervision and/or assistance from more experienced Mechanic: Consistently meet standard production outputs with standard production crewing. Efficiently prepare and process batches in accordance with established specifications and procedures with occasional supervision and/or assistance from a more experienced Compounder.  This includes the following: Cleaning and sanitizing all required chemical processing equipment, pipes, pumps and tanks.  Staging and transferring chemical raw materials.  Preparing and operating various chemical compounding equipment.  Transferring batches.  Complete all necessary documentation (log books, batch records, etc) accurately, timely and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.  Maintain working knowledge of compliance with hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements.  Ensures all processing areas are consistently in compliance with GMP. Operate and troubleshoot chemical processing equipment, such as mixers, pumps, scales, heating/cooling systems and request maintenance as needed. Assist with training other Compounders in the area of preparing/processing batches.  Interact with line personnel to ensure all filling/packaging needs met as they relate to Compounding.  Comply with plant safety standards, GMPs, current standard practices, and all other plant policies/rules. Successfully complete training programs, including personal protective equipment, confined space entry, respirator fitting and proper use, forklift operation, preventative maintenance for processing equipment, equipment operation and inventory control.  High School Diploma or GED.  At least 1 year processing experience or equivalent.  Must have passed written test administered by the Human Resources Department.  Forklift Certification.  Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
