Position Title: Family Therapist (Full-time)

Agape is seeking a Family Therapist for our Adoption Support and Preservation (ASAP) program. As the Family Therapist, this successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of social services delivery systems, knowledge of resources, good organizational, time management and communication skills. The Family Therapist for our ASAP program will be responsible for providing and coordinating Crisis Intervention Services for adoptive families within 24 hours of receiving referral; scheduling in-home visit at earliest convenience for family, provide individual and family therapy in the home as well as participate in Support Group activities for children &/or adults. Must possess the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. Education Requirement: Master’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field and state licensure as independent practitioner of psychotherapy or licensure eligible. An experienced therapist having worked with diverse client populations for two years minimum, preferred; having demonstrated effectiveness in teaching/training, quality assurance and oversight, and contract management. Must have a valid driver license and own a vehicle with proof of auto insurance. Must be computer literate.

 
Position Title: Social Worker
Location: Memphis, TN
Program: Families in Transition (FIT)
Reports To: Director of Families in Transition

Agape is seeking a Social Worker for our Families in Transition (FIT) program. As the Social Worker, this successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of social services delivery systems, knowledge of resources, good organizational, time management and communication skills. The Social Worker for our FIT program will be responsible for providing intensive case management and counseling services for families in Families in Transition program, complete timely written initial assessments (and any other needed thereafter) of each family for purposes of targeting strengths, need areas, milestones toward meeting goals, and develop service plan/treatment plans which will clearly define goals. Must have a valid driver license and own a vehicle with proof of auto insurance. Must be computer literate.
Degree Requirement: Master’s Degree in Social Work preferred, but other related Master’s Degree acceptable. Also accept a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or other related field with at least two years of experience in working with children and families with multiple problems and needs, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.

 

Position Title: Administrative Assistant (Full-time) Location: Memphis, TN
Program: Counseling Department
Reports To: Director of Clinical Services
Position Closing Date: Open Until Filled
Agape is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Counseling program. As the Administrative Assistant, this successful candidate must respond to a wide variety of routine and non-routine requests and demands. This position requires excellent communications skills and the ability to process information in an effective and professional manner. This position must provide superior secretarial, administrative, and organizational support. In addition to performing above-average administrative functions, this candidate must be able to assist in ongoing work and specific tasks. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for working on moderately complex assignments where experience and skills provide the basis for a significant amount of self-direction, including the ability to prioritize multiple work assignments. This person will ensure that the design of the agency’s client management system works properly. They may troubleshoot or elevate problems reported by users and by system monitoring and will be responsible to manage system security profile requests, password resets and deletes.
Education Requirement:
Associates Degree Preferred. Minimum of 2 years work experience in a professional office environment
setting; Prior experience working in a related field with ability to maintain confidentiality and security
required. Candidate must be culturally sensitive with a passion for helping others. Must have a valid driver license and own a vehicle with proof of auto insurance. Must be computer literate.
Note: Prospective candidate must pass computer skills test with 80% proficiency.
