 EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT:                                                                                      

The Executive Assistant will be required to perform administrative duties for executive management.  Responsibilities include: making travel and meeting arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; training others on class projects; and managing customer relations issues.

The essential qualifications include:  strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and internet research; excellent interpersonal skills; project coordination experience; and the ability to work well with nonprofit organizations and schools.   Educators or educators seeking a change in their education career are encouraged to apply.  Social networking skills are a plus.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Organize and maintaining files and records
  • Plan and scheduling meetings and appointments
  • Manage projects and conducting research
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations
  • Make travel and guest arrangements
  • Provide quality customer service
  • Work in a professional environment
  • Manage evaluations and feedback from end of program surveys, and student evaluations

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience in professional office environment
  • Intermediate level MS Word user
  • Advance user of internet applications, i.e. email, internet research, etc.

K-12 ASSISTANT CURRICULUM DEVELOPER:

The Assistant Curriculum Developer (ACD) drafts unique STEM lesson plans with hands-on projects that require thinking out-of- the-box.  The ACD also ensures that lessons align with the common core standards, and that all projects are delivered in an effective and a developmentally appropriate way.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Plan, manage and coordinate activities for the summer camp and after school programs
  • Assist in the design, development, training and implementation, of a STEM curriculum for out-of-school time (OST) courses
  • Ensure that all teaching materials are effective and meet state education standards
  • Plan Bi-weekly meetings with administrators
  • Manage quarterly robust course evaluation/review process
  • Provide input to Course Catalog to reflect new/revised courses

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Curriculum Development or Education preferred, but not required.  Education graduate students are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing, building, and implementing instructor-led classes
  • Advanced to intermediate computer experience and proficiency in Word 2010
  • Knowledgeable and functional in technical writing, including consistent and correct use of tense, grammar/spelling, and terminology that is interesting and varied
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
  • Must possess good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to be flexible and solve problems
  • Ability to communicate through oral and written means with individuals in small groups and in front of large audiences, at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in applying youth learning principles
  • Basic knowledge of recognized desktop publishing applications including layout and design (e.g. Publisher, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010
  • Ability to produce learning materials to include instructor and participant manuals
  • Ability to develop elementary and secondary curricula
  • Ability to work at in small education environments

CAMP DIRECTOR:

Camp directors conceptualize and implement camp curricula. Also, oversee camp instructors, camp counselors, and other employees, which may include assessing work performance and taking disciplinary measures, when necessary.

Specific Responsibilities:

  •  Manage  and ensure successful delivery of Summer camp
  • Manage program evaluations
  • Remain current with information on the developmental needs of youth
  • Seek and analyze input from youth, families, and staff regarding the quality, safety, and enjoyment of the program and staff
  • Develop and implement crisis and risk management procedures
  • Implement marketing plan to increase camper attendance and camp enrollment
  • Implement recruitment and retention strategies
  • Implement human resource management practices to recruit and retain seasonal and year-round staff
  • Recruit staff based on camper enrollment and program management requirements
  • Hire, supervise, and evaluate camp staff

Essential Qualifications:

  •  Administration skills (e.g., program planning, leadership, marketing, and public relations)
  • The ability to plan, promote and evaluate Summer Camp Programs
  • The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • The ability to lead and individually work to accomplish camp goals
  • A working knowledge of personal computers with word processing knowledge is required
  • A working knowledge of summer camp principles

SUMMER CAMP AND AFTER-SCHOOL INSTRUCTORS:

Summer Camp and After-School Instructors teach STEM classes and lead students in fun and engaging projects for our after-school, Summer camp, and/or Saturday programs.

Specific Responsibilities:

  •  Implement STEM enrichment activities for youth
  • Monitor student progress and needs, as appropriate
  • Prepare students for demonstrations or presentations, as appropriate
  • Required to work flexible hours
  • Must attend hands-on training

 Essential Qualifications:

  • Classroom management skills
  • Good organizational and supervisory skills
  • 2-Years of teaching experience required

 Job Title: Functional Analyst

Duties: Perform entry professional level work to support the assigned division with documentation and flowcharting of processes and/or procedures; write business requirements, test scripts, critical system reports and formulas; perform gap analyses and testing of upgrades/new enhancements; prepare and defend business requirements; document areas/departments’ processes and/or procedure for system enhancements; resolve system problems; and perform assigned area professional work duties.

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology or Information Systems courses. Must have 0-2 years experience in evaluating, testing, implementing and upgrading system applications. Experience requirements will vary according to departmental needs. Must have demonstrated knowledge of and application of computer software such as spreadsheets, word, access, presentation, etc. Must have a basic knowledge of assigned division operations. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works in office the majority of time. Subject to hazards at work sites during analyses.

 

Job Title: Workforce Analyst Duties: Support the Customer Care Division and other areas by analyzing, monitoring, and forecasting customer contact workload for workforce projections and scheduling; prepare and defend scorecard data, workforce projections and scheduling for daily and peak periods in contact centers; assist in writing areas/departments’ processes and/or procedures; procedures for systems enhancements; resolve system problems; and assist area management on employees’ workload.

Associate degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering Technology or related field with 4 years experience in monitoring, evaluating and upgrading computer technology. Must have demonstrated knowledge of and application of computer hardware and software such as word, spreadsheets, presentation, etc. Must have a basic knowledge of Customer Care operations. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works in office the majority of time. Subject to travel to other work locations for analyses.

 

Job Title: Assistant Manager, Customer Relations Duties: Provide technical assistance and administrative support in the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of overall departmental functions which includes residential energy conservation program development; customer policy development; energy conversation grant administration; systems/programs and personnel quality control; and residential services as delegated by or in the absence of the Manager.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering with 4-6 years of experience in customer relations areas including process evaluation, system controls or policy development. Must have 2 years of supervisory experience. Must have a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Works in office under good conditions.
