Formerly known as the MTV Program, The Mid-South Teen Summer Volunteer Fair is an annual event designed to make teen volunteerism easy, accessible and fun! It is a great way for teens, ages 13-17, to find ongoing volunteer opportunities both during the school year and the summer months.

This volunteer recruitment fair gives teens the opportunity to increases their understanding of community needs, build leadership skills, learn respect, and enhance social awareness all while serving their community.

This gives teens the perfect opportunity to meet with several agency representatives so they can decide the best way to spend their summer making an impact volunteering. As a Mid-South Teen Summer Volunteer, teens would have the chance to serve at a variety of agencies addressing different social issues such as hunger, animals, arts, seniors and more. There are numerous opportunities to choose!  http://www.volunteermidsouth.org
