ELEVATOR SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Independent, Non-Union, 54 year old full service elevator company has a position available for an elevator service technician based in the Memphis area.  Service technicians perform preventive maintenance and call back/repair service on vertical transportation equipment (elevators, homelifts, platform lifts…).

Elevator experience, familiarity with hydraulic systems, mechanical skills and experience in the construction industry is a plus, but others with electrical, electronic, mechanical or control experience will also be considered.  Applicant should have an understanding of ac/dc motor control and solid state component operation and the ability to troubleshoot and repair relay logic and microprocessor based equipment.  Applicant must also have the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and be a team player who possesses strong customer relation and communication skills and has a positive attitude toward callback reduction.  Airplane and automobile mechanics tend to be very successful in this industry.

If you have a clean criminal background record, driving record, do not abuse alcohol or drugs and can refrain from the use of all tobacco products while on company time, in company vehicles, or in company uniform, then please contact us to set up an interview.

ELEVATOR CONSTRUCTION MECHANIC

Independent, Non-Union, 54 year old full service elevator company has a position available for an elevator construction mechanic based in the Memphis area.  Construction mechanics are the lead technician on two man installations of vertical transportation equipment (elevators, homelifts, platform lifts…).

Elevator experience, familiarity with hydraulic systems, mechanical skills and experience in the construction industry is a plus, but others with electrical, mechanical, pipefitting or millwright work experience will also be considered.  Applicant should have the ability to read blueprints and mechanical installation drawing.  Applicant must also have the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and be a team player who possesses strong customer relation, communication and organizational skills.  Airplane and automobile mechanics tend to be very successful in this industry.

Elevator experience, familiarity with hydraulic systems, mechanical skills and experience in the construction industry is a plus, but others with good electrical and mechanical aptitude will also be considered.  Applicant must be self-motivated and be a team player who possesses strong customer relation, communication and organizational skills.  Airplane and automobile mechanics tend to be very successful in this industry.

NEW – Opening for a Branch Manager for bank located in downtown Memphis.  The Branch Manager has responsibility for management of the entire branch.  Directly manages two or more full-time employees, conducts performance reviews, selection and performance counseling. Ultimately responsible for driving branch performance results with a strong individual sales performance and through direction, leadership, and execution of superior service and sales behaviors and activities by the entire team in order to meet/exceed 100% of branch sales goals while maintaining an operationally efficient and compliant branch. Conducts outside sales efforts, as required, to bring in new primary relationships, while also maintaining and expanding existing personal and business banking relationships. Ensures compliance with internal controls, operational procedures and risk management policies. Additionally, Branch Managers in In-Store locations are responsible for service and sales to include in-store prospecting, and assisting clients on platform and teller transactions. Responsible for ensuring that all business transactions and practices in the individual’s span of control comply with all regulations and the bank’s Code of Conduct.  Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with client service and relationship skill building; proactive sales skills and ability to meet service and sales goals. Experience verbal and written communication skills. Preferred QualificationsTwo years of college with focus on business, finance or accounting. Five years financial service and sales experience in a retail branch environment with two years direct supervisory experience. Combined experience as a Teller Lead/Coordinator or Financial Service Representative or Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager at Bank or comparable financial institution and/or completion of Core STU Curriculum Training as well as corresponding Branch Manager coursework.  Knowledge of branch operations, policies and procedures.  Must have cash handling or payment transaction experience.
