Mid-South Food Bank announces today that U.S. Department of Agriculture commodities will not be distributed to eligible area residents for Memphis   and Shelby County on MAY 27-31, 2013

**All Commodities will be distributed at all locations from start time until completion of distribution.

2013 Commodity Card Registration Schedule
 
FRIDAY, JUNE 14,
Orange Mound Community Center
2590 Park Avenue                                                  9:00 AM-12:00 NOON
 
Eligibility will be based on total household income not in excess of the
State-established maximum percentage of the poverty line for the appropriate household size.  Also, anyone receiving aid from one of the following programs is eligible for USDA commodities: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) (formerly known as Food Stamps), Families First, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or documented residence in public housing.  All documents must be current for fiscal year 2013.
 
In accordance with Federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
