MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years clinical experience, 5 years of supervisory experience

CREDENTIALS: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with LADAC a plus

STATUS: This is an exempt position for purposes of federal wage and hour law.

SUPERVISOR: Executive Director

SUPERVISES: Counselors, Monitors, Interns and Volunteers

JOB KNOWLEDGE:

  • Mission and values of Grace House.
  • Working knowledge of best practices in alcohol, drug and co-occurring disorder treatment.
  • Familiar with a wide variety of effective clinical options and able to develop, implement monitor those options in practice.
  • Knowledgeable of: Individualized treatment planning, integrated care, gender specific services, trauma informed care, therapeutic community and essential learning.

Key Competencies needed to be successful LEADERSHIP

  • Direct program and lead day-to-day operations of the facilities.
  • Primary administrator if Executive Director is temporarily unable to perform duties.
  • Attend monthly board meetings and conduct weekly clinical staff meetings
  • Represent Grace House in community affairs and various other capacities.

CLINICAL QUALITY

  • Plan, develop and supervise the therapeutic team in the delivery of holistic clinical and recovery support treatment.
  • Ensure therapy is designed, integrated and coordinated to achieve maximum effectiveness for each client and significant support person.
  • Provide clear and precise curriculums to the Executive Director when new groups are needed.
  • Maintain ongoing documentation of clinical supervision.

BUSINESS ACUMEN

  • Assures compliance with contract and facility licensure requirements.
  • Manage and develop program and organizational budgets.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • Responsible for completing agency outcomes (staff, clients and program progress) through effective utilization of evaluation mechanisms and making adjustments as needed to ensure quality services.
  • Plans and delivers in-service trainings to staff and manages assignments for outside training opportunities.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations of supervised staff and establish Personal Improvement Plans as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor Degree with 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction and one year experience in counseling or related field.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE

Monday, Tuesday & Friday 7:45 am – 4:45 pm

Wednesday – Thursday  11 am – 8 pm

Saturday & Sunday (OFF)
