Ameri-Corps Project TLC’s service activities are de-signed to meet the various needs of “at risk” and abusive parents by teaching them positive parenting skills through parenting education courses, providing on-site and home-based training to families, and advocating for abused children’s best interests in court custody and visitation decisions. AmeriCorps members provide emotional support and essentially serve as role models to their clients.
