Status:   Full-Time


Plans, administers, directs and supervises, the Residential Living Department in accordance with the Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook, Chapter 3; 3.16 Residential Living and MINACT Positive Center Culture System. Oversee the Center’s disciplinary system in accordance with the Job Corps Policy and Requirements Handbook, Chapter 3; 3.4 Student Standards of Conduct and the MINACT Positive Center Culture System. Directs organization’s safety, security and fire prevention programs to protect employees and the company against harm, and maintain safe working conditions. Formulates and suggest work safety and security standards, and enforces safety, security and fire prevention procedures. Creates and maintains an environment that allows students to learn and practice self-management, independent living and community living skills. Projects and plans for departmental needs and secures the resources and facilities to carry out Career Success Departmental requirements.


A Bachelor Degree in Counseling, Education, Social Services, Social Work, Interpersonal Communications, Human Services and four years of experience in an employment and training program which serves youth required, with two years experience in managerial/administrative position required.  Experience in residential living setting established for young adults (16 years of age or older) preferred.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of community resources highly desirable’
  • Effective verbal and written and communication skills;
  • Ability to provide guidance and direction to staff and students in a large Residential Living Program;
  • Ability to plan and organize to meet departmental goals
  • Effective organizational skills; Effective interpersonal skills

 LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:  A valid Regular Driver License is required.

 DAYS/HOURS:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7:45 am – 4:45 pm; Tuesday & Thursday 1 pm – 10 pm

                        (OFF Saturday & Sunday)
