Required Skills
This Sales Consultant (SC) is responsible for selling a full range of telecommunications products and services to our customers in a professional and customer friendly approach. The ideal candidate must have the ability to multitask and provide an excellent customer experience in all interactions. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service, sales skills, and problem solving skills. In addition, the SC must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following.

  • Providing timely responses to the general inquiries of the sales leadership team.
  • Conducting administrative duties in a timely and efficient manner as requested.
  • Remain compliant to company sponsored policies and procedures.
  • Ability to connect quickly and effectively with customers in order to increase comfort levels in all sales and service interactions.
  • Skilled at conducting needs assessments with customers in a manner that provides the proper information in order to make solid recommendations based upon their needs.
  • Proficient at providing concise and easy to understand recommendations on our wireless products and services.
  • Skilled at conducting customer contact programs with the purpose of building long term relationships that increase our business opportunities.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date on all promotions, pricing, and updates that are provided to our sales teams on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining the facilities, including cleaning the store and ensuring that the store remains audit compliant in all affected areas.
  • Performing inventory counts and cash reconciliation in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Strong skills with Microsoft Outlook and Office products.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to deal effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and cope well with frequent change.
  • Minimum of one year of retail sales experience.
  • High School graduate (Post high school education/training is preferred).

Newborn Hearing / PEARS Program Assistant @ Family Voices of Tennessee

PART-TIME 10 hrs/week

PEARS – Parents * Empowerment * Access * Resources * Support is a program funded by the TN Department of Health Newborn Hearing Program and housed within Family Voices of Tennessee, a program of the Tennessee Disability Coalition, that provides parent-to-parent support for families of children who are deaf or hard of hearing ages 0 – 3.

 Minimum qualifications:  Parent of a child who is deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind or deaf with additional disabilities who will undergo specialized training to understand program objectives in supporting families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing; must have working knowledge through training and/or experience of health care and related service systems for children with hearing loss; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; demonstrated organizational and writing skills; proficiency with computer software, must be able to work 10 hours per week.

Location: Nashville or Memphis area

 Functional duties:

  • Provides administrative assistance in support of the NBH / PEARS Program as assigned by the Program Coordinator;
  • Responsible for data entry and collation of referrals into the customized database;
  • Assist the Program Coordinator in preparing programmatic reports;
  • Generates and mails program introduction letters to new referrals;
  • Assists in the creation and dissemination of promotional and/or resource and informational materials;
  • Assists Program Coordinator with coordinating events, workshops and/or trainings across the State;
  • Other administration duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator

GRAPHIC DESIGN SPECIALIST

STATUS: Full-Time

HOURS: 40 Hours per week

COMPENSATION: $28,000.00 (Annually)

General Purpose of Position:

Provides marketing/administrative support to Development Department under the supervision of the Chief Development & Communications Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and update brochures, flyers, posters, other marketing materials for NCC and all NCC Departments
  • Design and update organizational power points
  • Obtains approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts for approval to Manager of Development and CDCO
  • Update NCC’s website for design, current events and programs
  • Assist Development Manager in executing Social Media Plan
  • Create and edit videos for fundraising, programs, website and social media
  • Design theme for all newsletters, appeal letters, invitations, etc.
  • Fully prepare marketing materials for distribution (printing, photocopying, cutting, pasting, photography, etc.)
  • Manage Acknowledgement Letters Process
  • Provide administrative assistance to Chief Development & Communications Officer
  • Amateur Digital Photography
  • Attend NCC Events as needed
  • Provide operational support to Development Department (maintaining inventory of necessary Development Dept. supplies, ordering supplies, etc.)
  • Provide other duties for organization, as needed
  • Have a thorough knowledge of and operate according to NCC’s policies and procedure manual.

Qualifications and Aptitudes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand multi-step written and oral procedures/instructions
  • Adherence to NCC policies/procedures, including safety practices
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate knowledge and use of MS Office Suite (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Adobe, and other graphic design software)
  • Interest in and the ability to articulate the NCC Statement of Faith, Mission and Values
  • Valid Tennessee driver’s license and insurance
  • Occasional off-campus travel is required (Fundraising events, etc.)
