The Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network has an opening for a full-time Regional Coordinator (RC).
Duties will include:
Bachelor’s degree required with master’s degree preferred. Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field. A minimum of four (4) years related experience in public health and/or mental health preferred, as well as experience working in suicide prevention and/or crisis intervention. Experience in training, coordinating regional activities, developing new and innovative programs and supervising volunteers and/or field placement students.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Windows, and MS Office proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Valid Tennessee driver’s license, a vehicle that can be used on the job, and valid vehicle insurance. Must be able to travel regional at least 50% of the time. Ability to train and instruct. Familiarity with use and promotion through social media. Personal Qualities: Must be able to motivate others, work as a team member, value cultural differences, resolve conflicts, and display genuine interest in working with at-risk persons and with people who want to make an impact. Must possess a high regard for confidentiality. Salary Range: $35,000 – $40,000
