Works under the direction of the Manager of Processing at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Supervises shift supervisors responsible for first line supervision of workers engaged in the daily operation and maintenance of facility equipment to ensure conformity to federal and state guidelines. Coordinates implementation of processing procedures throughout all shifts.   Ensures tests are conducted and data is collected according to Processing Manager’s specifications.  Inspects plant and analyzes processing data to evaluate efficiency of operation and to detect any malfunctions. Initiates appropriate action to improve or rectify problems.  Provides training, work direction, assignment of duties, evaluation of work performance, and discipline for assigned personnel.  Confers with workers’ representatives to resolve grievances.   Prepares monthly activity reports and completes payroll documents for assigned employees.

The Family Safety Center of Memphis and Shelby County, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Memphis, TN, whose purpose is to effectively combine civil, criminal, health and social services in order to help victims of family violence.  We are seeking a Bi-Lingual Navigator fluent in English and Spanish who is highly motivated to assist clients and process their individualized needs through the various services provided with partner agencies.  This position will report to the Director of Client Services and will be an integral part of the growth of the organization.  This is a grant funded position.

Status: Permanent Full-Time

FLSA: Exempt

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday – Friday, other as required

Job Summary:  Assists clients in accessing services from on-site partners that accommodate the individual needs of the client.  Performs intake procedures to efficiently and effectively process clients through the organization.  Provides consultation, case management and information, completes administrative records, performs client follow-up, assists with and participates in professional development activities and client community outreach.

Family Safety Center Looking for Emergency Shelter Manager

The Family Safety Center of Memphis and Shelby County, Inc. is a non-profit organization located in Memphis, TN, whose purpose is to effectively combine civil, criminal, health and social services in order to help victims of family violence.  We are seeking a Client Services Manager who is highly motivated and organized to be part of a team of organizations and partners that are involved in the Emergency Sheltering for Victims of Domestic Violence program.   This position requires teamwork and flexibility within the work environment to meet client needs.  This position will report to the Director of Program Operations and will be an integral part of the growth of the organization.  This is a grant funded position.

Status: Permanent Full-Time

FLSA: Exempt

Hours: 8:00a.m. to 4:30p.m. Monday –Friday;Flexibility required as needed for after-hours services

Job Summary:  Responsible for evaluating emergency housing clients’ needs and assisting them in accessing housing services in conjunction and collaboration with Family Safety Center partners.  Supervises After Hours Advocates and maintains and monitors hotline services to ensure seamless connections to support services within the inter-disciplinary team.  Provides or arranges for the provision of supportive services to emergency housing clients. Prepares and administers records, reports, documents pertaining to each case and the hotline.  Participates in professional development activities and client and community outreach.  This is a grant funded position.
