Job Opening at U of M Regional Intervention Program

Classroom Coordinator position


  • High School Diploma or GED (higher education degree not required)
  • Applicable Experience
  • Education in SpEd, Psychology, Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work or a related field, is preferred

Required training:

  • Classroom Coordinator will train a minimum of four (4) days in Nashville (hotel, meals and travel provided by RIP)

Hours: 16 hours per week, 11:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday only

Duties include:

  • Creates and maintains weekly classroom lesson plans and activity centers
  • Prepares materials for new children
  • Provides parent training and classroom supervision; including classroom training, social skills training, feedback, developing classroom programs, modifications for children in the classroom, data collection and intake
  • Supports client families
  • Participates as a member of the program staff
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program Director
