The CleanUp Bar is currently seeking a Business Development Associate to add to our Marketing and Communications team! This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and resourceful professional who is looking for a hands-on role facilitating every step of the process of building new business. From researching new customers, to strategy, execution, and analysis, the Business Development Associate will be primarily responsible for driving new revenue from The CleanUp Bar best-in-class training services. The ManMark Institute, our training partner, helps meet the learning needs of professionals across a range of disciplines, from Business development, to sales training and exceptional customer service. Targeting potential buyers including residential, schools, group homes, community centers, Rental properties, and office buildings, the Business Development Associate will identify needs for local homeowners and business owners within the Tri-State area, build relationships, and ultimately develop new revenue streams out of The CleanUp Bar expertise.
To succeed in this new role, the ideal candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong client relationship management skills, pragmatic problem-solving abilities, and a talent for working independently yet collaboratively. This is a full-time/part-time role in Memphis, TN.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Developing an understanding of the need for Janitorial services in the Tri-State area with primary focus on Memphis, TN • Researching competitors in the Janitorial industry, and identifying key market trends/products; Analyzing sales data for marketing strategies; Assisting with drafting marketing campaigns, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, etc.; Developing/meeting established sales targets • Collaborating with The ManMark Institute to create strategies to target specific audiences • Outreach for new client leads; Scheduling and attending meetings with prospective clients; • Strengthening existing client relationships • Maintaining new client revenue data; Managing potential customer databases;
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required or at least 2-3 years of completion toward four year degree (preferably Business, Marketing , Project Management) • 2-3 years of professional experience in business development or a similar field • Familiarity with various B2B software tools and databases • Must be a highly organized individual, with a keen ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple projects • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills
