Church Facility Manager
Mt. Moriah-East Baptist Church has an exciting opportunity for a talented and organized individual to serve as our full-time Facility Manager. This individual will manage maintenance and upkeep of our building and grounds. Candidates should have the ability to prioritize tasks, repair skills, communication and management skills.
Ensure building & grounds are always welcoming, safe, maintained, stocked and clean.
Pro-actively inspect and address maintenance issues and normal scheduled maintenance.
Identify, recruit/hire and manage a roster of contractors, employees and volunteers for short & long term maintenance of the building and grounds.
Work alongside all teams to ensure the building & grounds are clean, prepared and set-up to facilitate excellent ministry throughout the week and weekend.
In conjunction with church leadership and staff, manage the third-party contractor process including spec development, competitive bidding, contracting, work execution and successful completion of projects.
Be on-call for facility needs and emergencies.
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
General knowledge of building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and custodial skills
Service-oriented self-starter; personal integrity and dependability; warm, friendly and service-oriented philosophy
Ability to engage in physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, including ability to lift 75 lbs.
High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change
Able to work weekends/nights as required
Background check required
Salary: Commensurate with experience
