Expansion Overview:
Youth Villages is expanding our intensive residential treatment on the Bartlett, TN campus! Bill’s Place will address a gap in services for youth with a higher need of integrated, supported care. The 100,000 square-foot expansion will allow 435 boys and girls to be treated annually through our intensive residential services, allowing Youth Villages to help many of the children who otherwise would be on a waiting list.

Job Opportunities:
We will be hiring 200+ positions in the next year as part of the expansion, including but not limited to:

  • Behavioral Youth Counselors
  • Night Monitors
  • Teacher Assistants
  • Food Service Workers
  • Master’s Level Counselors
  • Licensed Teachers  ($4,000 Sign-On Payment)

The expansion will include:

  • Theater and musical performance room with space for therapeutic drumming
  • Gym, outdoor pool, exercise room and outdoor playground
  • Classrooms and modern computer labs
  • Family counseling rooms
  • Expanded health stations with dentists, and optometrists
  • Physical and occupational therapy rooms
  • Sensory therapy rooms and neurofeedback therapy programs

After School Staff – Grace St. Luke’s School

Food Service Worker

Position Overview

Prepping and cooking meals on a daily basis, by following recipes and dietary guidelines. Responsible for maintaining excellent safety and sanitation standards within the department. Also responsible for helping to maintain kitchen stock areas and helping to check in/ put away stock as it is brought in. May be required to work at different campuses, as needed. Have at least six months of cooking experience in a school system, putting up stock, lifting, standing, serving meals, following health code.

Have knowledge of USDA guidelines

Additional Information

The shift hours are 10:30am-7:00pm. Weekend and holiday work is required.

Requirements

Six months of experience as a cook in a non-fast food restaurant or healthcare setting. Familiarity with basic kitchen principles, portioning, stock management, and health department regulations. High School Diploma or GED preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred.

Be able to stand for period of time.

Be able to raise, lower, and carry objects 25-50lbs.

Experience growth and development through our continuous training, as well as tuition and licensure reimbursement, or pursue opportunities to advance both clinically and administratively with Youth Villages.
