Front Gate Photographer at the Memphis Zoo. Our Front Gate Photographers meet and greet guests as they enter the Park. Photographers snap quick shots of family groups and friends, then offer a “no obligation” ticket allowing guests to view their photos at a time of their choice. Front Gate Photographers also spend a portion of their day at the Photo Sales Counter, greeting interested customers and selling the souvenir photos. As a Front Gate Photographer for Kaman’s Art Shoppes you will:

Memphis Redbirds Job Fair 1/25/18

Positions:

Field Crew: Are you a hands-on person who likes to work outside and doesn’t mind getting dirty? Be part of the crew that cares for one of the finest fields in baseball. Responsibilities include maintaining mounds/plates, batting practice setup/teardown, game setup, and much, much, more. Day and night shifts are available, typically six hours in length.

Box Office Ticket Seller: Responsible for quickly and accurately completing ticket transactions for a designated Box Office window. Must be able to handle cash, answer phones, and provide premium customer service to all fans. Shifts are four-five hours per game.

Ushers: Ushers should be outgoing, enthusiastic, and eager to assist Guests with whatever they may need. Responsibilities range from scanning tickets at gates, giving general information and directions throughout the park, checking tickets for seating or club areas, helping maintain a safe environment for Guests, and much more. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Most positions require standing for long periods of time and are also outside in the heat. Shifts will typically last from four-five hours, but can run longer or shorter.

Usher Supervisor: Usher Supervisors will assist guests and support the ushers in a designated zone of the stadium. Supervisors must familiarize themselves with and help enforce AutoZone Park’s ground rules for Guests and other policies for Guest safety. Supervisors will have a radio and must maintain open communication with Dispatch, other supervisors, and Front Office personnel. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Most positions require standing for long periods of time and are also outside in the heat. Shifts will typically last from four-five hours, but can run longer or shorter.

Bat Boys/Girls: Responsible for setting up/breaking down batting practice, shagging foul balls during batting practice, setting up/breaking down dugouts and bullpens, collecting bats and balls during the game, assisting umpires, trainers and clubhouse personnel, and more. Averages five-plus hours per game.

Redbirds Promotional Team (Men and Women): Are you energetic and love to interact with people? The Memphis Redbirds are seeking very energetic, humorous, and friendly men and women to join the Promotional Team for the 2018 season! The Promotional Team provides entertainment for Memphis Redbirds fans during gamedays and outside appearances throughout the year. Promotional Team members need to feel comfortable in front of large crowds but also in one-on-one settings interacting with our guests and providing great customer service. Promotional Team members must also promote the Redbirds’ brand of family friendly environment. The Promotional Team sets up and executes in-game promotions, leads the crowd in cheers and rallies from the top of the dugout, and entertains and interacts with the crowd from entrance until exit.

Team Leader Coach (Store Manager)
Under the leadership of the Regional Director. Grader/Hanger- Sorts apparel into salvage and salable categories.  Places all salable apparel in the appropriate bin to prepare for hanging.  Maintains accurate hang and sort counts.  Maintains sorting and processing area in a neat and clean condition at all times.  Ability to bend, reach, and stand for extended periods of time, and lift up to 50lbs. on a regular basis.  Ability to read, write, communicate verbally, and perform basic math skills.  Must be willing and able to work evenings and weekends.

Janitor/Housekeeper
Responsible for cleaning the public and office areas of the assigned government contract locations to provide a clean, safe and attractive environment for the employees and visitors.  Must be able to use arm dexterity to operate heavy duty motorized equipment to refinish floors and shampoo carpets.

Grounds Maintenance/Landscaping
Under the leadership of the Director of Facility Maintenance, will be responsible for the cultivation, landscaping and grounds maintenance of Memphis Goodwill contract sites, carry out all duties required to create and maintain an aesthetically pleasing horticultural environment. These duties may include planting, trimming, administering pesticides and additional functions associated with the design and upkeep of external and internal landscaping. The Grounds Maintenance Worker will ensure quality control processes and procedures, while ensuring compliance with contract specifications, OSHA safety regulations, and promoting a positive Memphis Goodwill image.

Salvage/Material Handler (Dock Worker)
Assists in loading and unloading the Goodwill Trucks when needed.  Responsible for operating the baler, sorting donated goods into usable, salvage, or trash. Must be able to use arm dexterity to operate baling equipment and have the ability to understand and follow instructions.  Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.  Must be able to work under extreme weather conditions and be able to work flexible shifts including weekends

The Account Executive will possess consultative sales skills and excel in developing objective-based integrated marketing campaigns across multiple properties consisting of print, digital and event sponsorships.
The Account Executive must be polished and comfortable working with large corporations and high-growth
small- to medium-sized businesses to identify the needs of these prospects and communicate the value of
ACBJ’s suite of products and services. The Account Executive must be a strong prospector and comfortable with closing new business deals. He or she should excel at building rapport with prospects in person, on the phone and via email. He or she should be able to solve complex problems quickly and provide the appropriate
solutions.

Duties:

The performance of Account Executives will be evaluated according to the standards below. These targets are the expected level of performance and may be re-evaluated in order to help the AE achieve success.
Performance that falls below the minimum defined standard is job threatening.
A. Goals and Quotas: Yearly and monthly goals will be set by the Advertising Director. Account Executives should, at a minimum, meet their monthly and yearly quotas, and should strive to exceed them.
B. New Business Targets and Prospecting: Proactively contact new-to-company prospects to generate new streams of ACBJ revenue. The Account Executive will need to quickly qualify genuine opportunities and move these to the next stage of the sales process or move on in cases where no worthwhile opportunity
exists.
C. Sales Activity: Account Executives are expected to conduct a minimum of 5-7 client meetings weekly to build a pipeline of business and ultimately closed contracts.
D. Business Acumen: Understand the business issues affecting specific prospects and/or industries and ensure that this knowledge is the foundation for our communication.
E. Product Knowledge/Market Intelligence: Clearly express the value proposition and benefits of ACBJ’s products and solutions and use this knowledge to ensure that solutions address clear business needs for the client. Account Executives are expected to read content produced by ACBJ daily and stay informed of media industry trends as well as trends affecting client’s industries.
F. Forecast: Manage sales pipeline and revenue forecast in Salesforce to ensure accurate recording of prospecting activity, conversion success, and active sales opportunities at each stage of the sales process as well as future new business revenue.
G. Managing Prospect and Client Information: Keep accurate and clear records within Salesforce to provide a solid deal and contact history that clearly shows the steps taken to reach each transaction.
H. Policies and Guidelines: Adhere to the ACBJ corporate policies set in place.
I. Communication and Teamwork: Account Executives should keep the Advertising Director apprised of their schedules and developments with their accounts via Salesforce. Administrative tasks must be completed in a timely manner as set forth by executive management. They are expected to work cooperatively and collaboratively with their clients, members of other departments, and ACBJ corporate personnel.
J. Community: Account Executives are expected to participate in all Business Unit-sponsored events and to provide input as to which of their clients and prospects should be invited.
K. Professional Development: Account Executives are expected to participate in all training offered by ACBJ. In addition, they should participate in at least one other training opportunity each year, as agreed upon with the Advertising Director.
L. Other: Account Executives should be prepared to assist with any other task or project assigned by the Advertising Director.

Basic Qualifications:
A. BA/BS degree.
B. 2+ years media sales experience with digital advertising preferred.
C. Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships.
D. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools like SalesForce.
E. Well versed in a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
