Kaplan is one of the world’s leading educational organizations, with almost 70 years of experience in building futures. We provide high-quality ACT instructional programs to thousands of students each year. Kaplan K12 places talented instructors into classrooms to teach valuable Math, English, Science and Writing lessons. Our curriculum is specifically designed to reinforce foundational skills and bolster ACT performance.
The Kaplan K12- ACT Instructor provides ACT testing instruction to students in classroom settings. Our programs run Monday-Friday from 7am-3pm and 7am-5pm from January 2012-March 2012. The position pays $17/hour.
Qualifications for Instructors include:
-Classroom teaching experience or tutoring experience
-Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
-High energy, self-starter, and committed to helping students in the city of Memphis reach their educational goals.
-The ability to maintain a productive, high-performing learning environment with effective classroom management strategies
-Successful completion of Kaplan Instructor Training
-Be able to lift and transport boxes of student materials up to 30lbs.
-Must be available for work during school hours from January 2012 through the end of March 2012 (Monday through Friday).
