DETAILER (Sales Support/Stocker) (Part Time – usually 2 days a week)

 SUMMARY DESCRIPTION  (Detailer & Merchandiser)

  • Under limited supervision, restocks products in customer locations during high volume and high traffic times on off days of Route Sales Representatives, pulling product from storage areas in ‘back of the store’.
  • Ensures products are properly displayed and rotated.  Clean and straighten shelves/racks, checking code dates, rotating product and removing unsaleables.
  • Employee may assist in assembling and disassembling temporary mobile displays. Limited contact with store customers and clients.
  • Decision making is moderate, which is governed by procedure while focused on daily operations.
  • Analyzes situation accurately, taking effective action; following written and oral instructions; organize and coordinate work; communicating tactfully and effectively, working independently in absence of direct supervision; ability to work under narrow time constraints; while maintaining effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
  • Reliable transportation and driver’s license is required as well as proof of insurance coverage.
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, evenings.
  • Position is part time, 5-25 hours per week, days vary.
  • This job requires working in all weather conditions, a background investigation for work history and criminal record check, and the ability to  pass a drug test

  • This position is classified as medium work.  It involves frequent lifting, up to 15 pounds.  On occasion, lifting of 40 pounds may be required.  Position requires frequent reaching, pushing/pulling, and use of fingers.

Route Sales Associate (DOT) – General

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

  • Under general supervision, develops account sales and delivers products to various stores (i.e. grocery, convenience, schools, gas stations, etc.) within the designated route area.
  • Driving delivery truck in and out of the distribution center.  .  The type of truck will vary by route and zone needs, up to and including a 24’ box truck.  .
  • Performs inventory for product cases in truck, loading and unloading products to and from truck and delivering product cases to customer locations, may use a 2-wheel dolly or other rolling product equipment.
  • Displays product on display racks in customer accounts (Store Door Delivery).  May create signs and displays on product.  May be required to build displays of various sizes and heights.
  • Empties product cases, flattens, loads back on truck and returns to the Distribution Center.
  • Responsible for communicating and selling product promotions, displays and maintaining key locations in high traffic areas within customer locations.
  • Ensures target goals are maintained for sales, waste and safety.  Maintains daily paperwork and cash flow integrity.
  • Directly impacts the sales process having continuous contact with customers.  Decision-making is extensive, which is governed by policy and guided by procedure while focused on daily operations.
  • Previous sales experience a plus. Able to read, write, communicate in English.
  • This is a full time position, averaging 50 hours a week, days off will vary depending on route type, hour may vary, and position may require early more starts in order to accommodate vendor requirements.
  • This position requires working in all weather conditions.
  • A “clear” driving record for the past (3) years is required.  A CDL license is not required.
  • This position analyzes situation accurately, taking effective action; following written and oral instructions; organize and coordinate work; collect, chart and interpret statistical data, calculate mathematical equations, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, analyze and problem solve, communicating tactfully and effectively, working independently in absence of direct supervision; ability to work under narrow time constraints; while maintaining effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment
  • This position requires passing a pre-employment sales aptitude test, background investigation of work history and criminal check, a drug test and a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Job Description

  • Greet and welcome clients, co-workers and vendors to Evolve Bank and Trust in a courteous, professional and timely manner; provide prompt, accurate and efficient transactions.
  • Under regular supervision, process all types of paying and receiving transactions including specialty functions.
  • Research and resolve complex customer issues.
  • Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift and compare totaled amounts to computer-generated proof sheet; research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.
  • Enter customers’ transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
  • Maintain branch files, account records and customer correspondence.
  • Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents.
  • Consistently follow precise policies and procedures for conducting Bank business.
  • Establish and cross-sell deposit and consumer lending products and services.
  • Interview and qualify potential consumer loan prospects.
  • May train new employees.
  • Provide administrative support to management.
  • Perform any branch function necessary.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • At least 2 years Bank or Credit Union Teller Experience

  • Computer literate; Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook

Arkansas Promise Connector in Crittenden County

Arkansas PromiseArkansas PROMISE seeks applicants for Case Managers in 12 Counties

Arkansas PROMISE in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, invites applications for the position of PROMISE Case Manager in Pulaski, Jefferson, Craighead, Mississippi, Miller, Garland, Lonoke, Crittenden, Greene, Ouachita, Sebastian, and Crawford Counties.  

Each Case Manager, called PROMISE Connectors, will be responsible for coordinating PROMISE grant activities for 20 youth and their families. PROMISE has already hired 13 Connectors and will hire 37 more in the coming year.

Job duties include coordinating recruitment efforts in the first 2 years to enroll 2000 youth in the program; working with administrative staff to schedule and execute monthly events for youth and families in the region; keeping the youth and family connected to available supports and services, to their personal support networks, and to the PROMISE project; introducing youth and families to VR transition specialists, UA training staff, service providers from other collaborative agencies; identifying barriers that youth and families face and addressing those barriers; developing a trusted relationship with youth and families, meeting face-to-face with families regularly at home, work, and community locations; setting goals for self-efficacy and self-sufficiency using a person centered approach and working with transition specialists to include those goals into the youth’s educational and vocational plans; assessing the family’s needs and connecting the family to resources to address their needs; creating resource maps for families detailing services available and resources in families’ personal and community networks; planning and executing monthly training events with Regional Directors and Training Staff; attending PROMISE events after hours and on weekends as needed; maintaining detailed case files for youth and families and entering data into the PROMISE MIS system to track out comes and monitor progress.

Preferred Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of state agency service provision, special education, career education and youth employment; familiarity with local resources, service providers and trust brokers; four years of experience working in rehabilitation, education, social work, workforce services or a related field; five years of similar case management experience; demonstrated history of working with families and organizations in the targeted geographical areas; demonstrated knowledge of community resources and supports in the targeted areas; experience working with SSI youth in the local area in the field of employment, education, rehabilitation, counseling, health, human services or a related field.
