The Friends For Life Corporation Clinical Services Liaison will greet visitors/telephone callers pleasantly & professionally and to convey a feeling of warmth, respect & understanding. Will occasionally be required to type reports and letters, make copies, and perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
Greet visitors, clients, and vendors to the agency and direct them to the appropriate staff person. Answer the telephone and direct callers to the appropriate staff person, or take messages when necessary. Maintain consumer files. Develop appointment system, and set appointments for various programs. Develop and maintain appropriate database systems (tracking, appointments, etc.). Develop and maintain client referral system. Monitor IT support Desk and coordinate with IT vendor.
Non-essential Job Functions
Place telephone calls when directed to do so. Type reports, letters, and forms and address envelopes, and make copies when necessary. Use the postage meter and fax machine when needed. Receive in-kind donations to the agency and record all gifts. Accept donations and disperse donation receipts. Assist with typing articles for the newsletter. Provide clerical and administrative support to various program areas as directed and needed. Maintain staff directory and phone extension list. Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma with some office and business emphasis, or possess demonstrated experience in a similar manner. Database development and management required. Must have IT problem solving skills. Must possess good interpersonal and communications skills, with emphasis on telephone courtesy. Ability to greet visitors, clients, and vendors to the agency with courtesy, professionalism, and tact. Must be sensitive to the culturally and racially diverse nature of clients and visitors to FFL. Must be able to interact with everyone in a friendly, helpful manner. Must possess basic PC skills. MS Word, MS Excel, along with typing skills. Must understand the confidential nature of all reports, messages, and clients that he/she comes in contact with respects that privacy at all times, both at work and away from work. Two years’ experience working with persons with HIV/AIDS preferred. Regular and predictable attendance is necessary. Maintain confidential information and adhere to all policies and procedures regarding Protected Health Information(PHI).
The ability to work well in a fast pace environment. The ability and desire to work in a team environment.
Extended periods of standing and sitting. The ability to lift 20 -25 lbs as needed.
