AT&T DISTRIBUTION CENTER COORDINATOR

Location: Memphis, TENNESSEE 

Distribution Center Coordinators needed in all areas of distribution center operations, including, but not limited to: pick, pack and ship product, cycle counts, replenishments and reverse logistics.

 

GENERAL DUTIES

The essential functions listed below are representative of duties performed by this job title. Duties generally include but are not limited to the following:

 

GENERAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS WHICH ARE NORMALLY REQUIRED:

1. Complete the timely and accurate picking, packing and shipping of orders to provide exceptional customer service.

2. Complete timely and accurate inventory moves both physically and logically as directed by manager.

3. Assist in maintaining or exceeding the distribution center’s production and inventory goals, fill rate and cycle time.

4. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all employees.

5. Be a team member.

6. Forklift certification eligibility required.

7. Ability to operate material handling equipment.

8. Working knowledge of automated distribution systems.

9. Able to work overtime with little or no notice

10.Able to access all areas of the warehouse.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Able to stand for 8 hours, plus overtime.

2. Full range of upper body motion.

3. Able to lift 50 pounds.

4. Ability to lift 25 pounds repeatedly in 8 hour, plus overtime.

5. Visual acuity including color depth perception and field of vision.

6. Auditory ability to receive verbal communications.

7. Willingness to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift hours when necessary.

Agape is seeking applicants for a Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator to effectively publicize and market Agape and all of our programs. This role is a strategic position at Agape and will be intimately involved with all aspects of internal/external communications, special events and volunteerism. This role will effectively manage and communicate through all marketing mediums including print media, social media, email, web site, television, radio, special events, speaking engagements, and more.

The Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator will need to possess the following skills for this role:  

A passion for helping children and families in need.  

  Proactive organizational skills that allow for managing several tasks at the same time  

Commitment to deadlines, including office hours and special events (interviews, volunteers, etc.)  

The ability to coordinate with multiple parties and partners in various programs  

A planned and intentional strategy to raise awareness and involvement throughout Memphis

 Degree Requirement:

 Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, Administration, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position. Must have the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with staff, volunteers, media, business executives, church leaders, community leaders, city officials, and the general public. Requires the ability to be proficient with a personal computer, website, and Internet. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Position Purpose
The Coordinator, Community Investment is responsible for creating and implementing educational programs to ensure compliance with the NBA’s community programming mandate. The position will build an awareness and excitement for basketball within our educational and community systems, and assist the organization in “giving back to the community”

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and implement  all educational programs including: Read to Achieve, Grizzlies Reading  Challenge, Grizzlies Stay In School Challenge, Grizzlies Reading Time Out,  Educator of the Month, etc.
  • Serve as primary contact with  the NBA to ensure compliance with educational programming requirements.
  • Organize and facilitate: team,  player, management and other special appearances and speaking engagements  for educational programs.
  • Organize Grizz, Grizz Girls and Street Team appearances for educational programs.
  • Write and formats educational content for the community section of the Grizzlies website.
  • Manage, writes, and edits the Grizzlies Annual Report.
  • Attend community programs on  budget.
  • Track and prepares updates on   all educational programs initiatives and provides information to the      Director, Community Investment.
  • Serve as primary contact for  local school systems.
  • Other related duties as required.

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university in a related field.
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in  creating and managing community programs and special events.
  • Proficiency with MS Word,  Excel, Outlook and the internet.
  • Knowledge of professional  sports and sports philanthropy preferred.
  • Familiarity with non-profit organizations and development.
  • Familiarity of charitable  programs, initiatives, outreach and organizations in the Greater Memphis and Shelby County area.
  • Coordinate Grizzlies Black History Month in arena recognitions.
  • Ability to produce creative and  relevant written materials for a variety of publications.
  • Ability to build relationships  in order to develop and mentor personnel.
  • Excellent people skills with  the ability to interact with all types of people, including staff and  management, professional and elite athletes, members of media, senior  government officials and corporate representatives and children.
  • Excellent oral and written  communication skills required.
  • Ability to balance major  priorities on a daily basis.
  • Solid working knowledge of  Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and passion for the  NBA basketball.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and  evenings, as required.
