GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops and schedules with student input, recreational and avocation activities to fill the leisure time hours of both residential and non-residential students in accordance with PRH Chapter 3; 3.18 Recreation and Leisure Time Activities. Supervises students involved in recreational activities both on and off center. Schedules, organizes and participates with students in intramural sports competition between all dormitories.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Health education or a related field with one year experience working in a recreational program which provides services to at-risk youth preferred. Or Associate’s Degree; High School Diploma.
LICENSES OR State Commercial Driver’s License required.
CERTIFICATES: Safe driving record required.

REGISTERED NURSE

GENERAL FUNCTION:
Provide health services to students under the guidance of the Manager of Wellness. Implements the Center’s Health Services Program and assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Unrestricted state certification, as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state where center is located is required. Three years of experience is required. Experience in a hospital setting desired. Public Health experience acceptable. Substitution: Education and experience above the high school level may be substituted on an equal basis when directly related to the essential functions.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation required. A valid Regular Driver License is required.

MANAGER OF FOOD SERVICES
Department: Food Services Reports To: Director of Admin Support

Status: Full -Time
GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Manages the food service operation and prepares food service staff by introducing menus and teaching food presentation techniques, assigning and scheduling staff and following up on work results.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
An Associate Degree or equivalent in Culinary Arts, Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, Food Preparation, Food Science, Home Economics, Institutional Food Service, or Nutritional Science required and one year of institutional cooking experience, which included line or functional supervision required.
OR
A High school Diploma or GED equivalent required and five years of institutional cooking experience, which included one year in a line or functional supervisory role required. Education and experience above the high school level may be combined to meet the minimum requirements for this position. One year of college education may be substituted for two years of Job Corps experience or experience in a similar area.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES: A valid Regular Driver License required
DAYS/HOURS: Saturday & Sunday: OFF; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 7:45am – 4:45pm; Thursday: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
