JOB TITLE:                CHRISTMAS BELL RINGER        

INCUMBENT:                VACANT                

REPORTS TO:        CORPS OFFICER and/or KETTLE COORDINATOR        

DEPARTMENT:        CORPS                

FLSA STATUS:        NONEXEMPT                

JOB SUMMARY:

Rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program at assigned locations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:                This job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive.  It is intended to identify the essential functions and requirements of this position.  The incumbents may be requested to perform job-related responsibilities and tasks other than those stated in this job description.

Tripod, Kettle and Sign
Bell

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

No education or experience requirements

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:

None required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of The Salvation Army Christmas Bell Program

Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision

Ability to relate to the general public

Ability to abide by required dress code

Ability to ring small hand bell and be responsible for bell and apron

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Ability to meet attendance requirements

Ability to stand in one location for extended periods  in outside weather conditions, with breaks and lunch periods as required by State law.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed outside in a wide variety of weather conditions during.   Dressing appropriately is important for comfort.
