We have different types of facilities all of these utilize the Re-Education of Emotionally Disturbed Children therapy model (Re-Ed).

Position Overview

This job will involve lifeguarding at a pool at a residential treatment facility and/or leading and lifeguarding canoeing activities at a lake on the campus with at-risk youth.

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be Certified as a lifeguard.
Experience as a lifeguard is Strongly Preferred.
Experience with At-Risk Youth is Preferred.

Job requires working during the week and on the weekends.

Program Overview
Youth Villages’ Residential Treatment programs serve children with emotional and behavioral problems. This enables children and their families to identify, understand and cope with their individual needs and develop the skills necessary to succeed in less restrictive settings. We have three different types of facilities—Intensive Residential Centers, Open Campuses, and Group Homes. Located in Tennessee and Georgia, all of these facilities utilize the Re-Education of Emotionally Disturbed Children therapy model (Re-Ed).

Job Responsibilities
Sweep, mop, wax, strip, scrub, and buff all types of floor surfaces.
Surface clean carpets with an extractor

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Valid Driver License required, Pass a criminal Background Check & Fingerprinting.
1-year experience as a floor tech in a related work environment required; 5 years preferred.
Must be able to lift cleaning equipment (must be able to lift 75 pounds or more).
Must be able to operate all needed floor equipment for all floor surfaces including carpet and hardwood.
Must have a strong knowledge of stripping, waxing, buffing, and cleaning all floor surfaces.
Ability to work different hours as needed.

System One is searching for dependable Cardboard Balers for a weekend shift. This is a long term  assignment and would work great for someone looking to supplement their income! The job site is located in North Memphis within a manufacturing facility.

Job Duties Include:

1) Tends automatic machine that bales cardboard boxes: Observes machine compressing, wrapping, and sealing cardboard boxes.

2) May tend automatic machine that stacks bales on pallets for storage or shipment.

3) Removes bales from machines.

4) Turns valves and presses button that resets baling operations when automatic controls malfunction.

3)Operates floor sweeper to clean warehouse floor.

5)Other cleaning duties as assigned

Salary:  The starting pay is $8.25/hr with an increase in pay after 90 day probation.
