Church Facility Manager
Mt. Moriah-East Baptist Church has an exciting opportunity for a talented and organized individual to serve as our full-time Facility Manager. This individual will manage maintenance and upkeep of our building and grounds. Candidates should have the ability to prioritize tasks, repair skills, communication and management skills.
Ensure building & grounds are always welcoming, safe, maintained, stocked and clean.
Pro-actively inspect and address maintenance issues and normal scheduled maintenance.
Identify, recruit/hire and manage a roster of contractors, employees and volunteers for short & long term maintenance of the building and grounds.
Work alongside all teams to ensure the building & grounds are clean, prepared and set-up to facilitate excellent ministry throughout the week and weekend.
In conjunction with church leadership and staff, manage the third-party contractor process including spec development, competitive bidding, contracting, work execution and successful completion of projects.
Be on-call for facility needs and emergencies.
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
General knowledge of building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and custodial skills
Service-oriented self-starter; personal integrity and dependability; warm, friendly and service-oriented philosophy
Ability to engage in physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, including ability to lift 75 lbs.
High degree of flexibility and tolerance for change
Able to work weekends/nights as required
Background check required

The General Laborer, Fleet Operations is a field based position, responsible for safely and efficiently supporting crew members who operate and maintain the railroad maintenance machines in accordance to guidelines set forth by the FRA, our customers, and Loram Maintenance of Way, INC. (Loram).
THIS POSITION STARTS AT $15.00 PER HOUR FOR NEW HIRES
Time and a half is paid after 40 hours per week. Typical work hours are 12-14 hours per day and 70-75 hours per week. Hours may be longer or shorter depending on operational needs. Room for advancement: 90% of General Laborers who are employed with the company for 2 years receive a promotion in that time and 50% will have received at least 2 promotions. Loram offers medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401K with match, and many other benefits.
There is NO per diem for this position. Employees are responsible for all personal expenses including, but not limited to, food, phone and laundry. Loram does pay for hotel/motel rooms and all work-related travel to and from the job site (flights, buses, etc.).
1 – 2 Years: Demonstrated technical skills such as mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or machine operations
1 – 2 Years:Demonstrated ability to learn communicate verbally and in writing and learn best practices

Can tolerate variable and sometimes extreme physical conditions during visits or inspections of company equipment in a railroad environment

Able to locate all emergency equipment and demonstrate correct operation to superintendent
Able to read and understand safety rules and regulations and perform tasks in accordance with those rules
Must be able to pass the required examinations; read and understand safety instructions, operations book of rules, and Loram Standard Operations Procedures
Must be constantly alert to changing conditions and events and take safe responsible action if required
Machine Operations and Technical Knowledge
Able to explain basic equipment functions
Cleans and lubricates equipment
Inspects the machine to identify problems, defects, changes, and hazards; then communicate conditions to the operator or supervisor
Demonstrates general knowledge of tools and uses them safely
Repairs and replaces defective parts
Performs maintenance and repair according to set schedules and policies
Communicating on the Job
Understands and applies verbal/written instructions and asks clarifying questions to ensure understanding before beginning tasks
Provides accurate feedback that allows machine leadership to make operating decisions

Operate equipment in an effective and efficient manner according to company standards, specifications and policies. To produce quality mineral fibre ceiling tile products within the Company’s parameters of quality, material efficiency, and time efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe and efficient workplace without jeopardizing product quality or the environment.
- Key Result Areas
To produce at the required output, maintaining the high standards of quality expected by our customers in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to make product changes efficiently and maintain a smooth uninterrupted flow of product. The General Operator must be able to work with all members of the crew and departments as a team.
Sets up and operates the following machine groups as designated by supervisors:
Safely moves semi-finished product to the line, utilizing FIFO methods without damage to product Raw materials
Safely unloads raw materials to the designated positions in the warehouse, moves raw materials to the line according to instruction and systems without damage to the product.
Safely moves finished product from the production line to the warehouse without damage to the product
Feeds the line with raw materials and/or semi-finished goods, ensuring correct material numbers
Documents batch numbers used in the production
Assists in Operating splitting saw and turning device
Operating sanding machine
Quality check after surface sanding
Packages product into correct boxes, ensuring correct quantity and product type according to packaging specifications
Packages product delicately and in a timely manner in order to ensure smooth flow of product is maintained, while ensuring quality of the product is not compromised
Assists in running shrink machine and heating tunnel
Ensures visual quality of product is within specifications through on-line aesthetic quality checks
Packages boxes on pallets in the correct position ensures correct quantity and product type according to packaging specifications
Packages boxes on pallets precisely and in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth flow of product is maintained, while ensuring the quality of the product is not compromised
Assists in running pallet wrapping machine
